The UFD900 is an advanced digital ultrasonic flaw detector with a multi-color LCD and a number of special functions to meet even the most demanding inspection requirements. It combines ease of use, powerful flaw sizing and measurement capabilities, extensive data storage and the ability to save detailed inspection data internally or to a USB drive. Screen content can also be transmitted to smartphones via Bluetooth connectivity.
The instrument contains many advanced signal processing functions, works with a
20MHz RF bandwidth to enable testing of even very thin materials with the highest precision. Narrow Band Filters improve signal-to-noise ratio in high-gain applications.
The UFD900 can be used to locate and size hidden cracks, voids, bonding defects in materials and discontinuities in welds, forgings, billets, axles, shafts, tanks, pressure vessels, turbines, structural components and the like.
